May Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order at 6:33pm

Introductions made.

April minutes accepted with the revision of the Teacher and Staff Appreciation of Roland's Catering and to have something set aside for the BBC (not to exceed $1400 for both venues)

Arithmetickles will be June 10th. Corine Adams will make a poster for the event.

Treasurer report was given.

Preschool caps and gowns, cost $229.70 Motioned and accepted by Vickie Ehmann and Deanne Rockwood.

Mr. Arth Reports:

Three trees were planted for Arbor Day. Trees were donated by Leighton Allenby, Tavares and Patrick Dale. Many pictures were taken during the day. During vacation Teaticket Tigers was painted at the entrance donated by the maintenance staff. The masons fixed area needed to be updated.

Budget - override did not pass.

Class sections were discussed. Mr. Arth has the design if anyone wants to view.

Defibrillator case was discussed. Kelly Crocker will apply for a grant on a defibrillator and case. Daniel Palanza and Sue Picard motioned and moved. Everyone in favor, no one opposed. Our old defibrillator will be donated if we are able to receive a grant.

Treasurer: Deanne Rockwood will continue to help oversee through the summer until a new treasurer is found.

Tsunami Drive - $416.44 to date. Pennies will continue to be collected for the month of May. Each child will receive a certificate for the donations made.

Buy One Get One Free Book Fair will be held this Wednesday and Thursday 11:15 - 1:15

National Honor Society will be given $100.00 gift certificate to Papa Gino's for their help during the year with babysitting. Dan Palanza and Vickie Ehmann motioned and moved. All in favor, no one opposed.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Day discussed further. All teachers and aides will receive bags with favors and bus drivers will also receive a token gift.

Welcome back to Teachers in September. Table set for coffee and school supplies for teachers. To be discussed further at another meeting.

Art Show/Ice Cream social was a great success. It was nice to see new faces helping at the event.

Box Tops results $1188 total so far, not including Box Tops Marketplace or 1% on credit card savings.

4th grade newspaper will be out for publication June 1st tentatively, and be returned in the middle of June.
