Welcome and Introductions:

Ms. Tabarraci and Mrs. Freeman presented a thank-you note shaped heart to the Teaticket parents from the teachers for the Teacher appreciation lunch.

Treasurer’s Report: furnished by Lori Raber in absence of Deanne Rockwood: Actual numbers provided upon request. May minutes accepted unanimously.

Playground Presentation: Rebekah Raber gave a presentation on needed improvements for 3rd and 4th grade playground. Well received. Laura Peterson suggested constructing a playground committee. Renee Marks will consider chairing and look into the possibility of sponsors.

Field Day: The PTO will not be purchasing ribbons as we would not have received them in the right color or on time. Popsicles will be handed out including sugar free for those who require it.

Flag Day: Donna Skinner or Yvonne Boots-Faubert will attend the flag day ceremony in the cafeteria and speak about plantings in Mr. Bud's honor. Deb Murphy and her son Owen will mulch the area around the flag pole. PTO voted unanimously to pay for the supplies needed.

Fourth Grade Ice Cream Social and Yearbook - Will be on Friday June 16th.

Recap: BOGO was a big success thanks to Kelly Giest and Laura Peterson for her voucher idea.

Teacher Appreciation: was held on Friday June 2nd. This event was chaired by Kelly Crocker and Deanne Rockwood. Teachers were presented with the new laminator a donated gift from an area business, a encyclopedia, plant and a chance at one 15 fabulous raffles. Thank you to the 15 families for the wonderful desserts you sent in. Discussed books purchased for teachers for classrooms. When a teacher leaves they should take the books and we will replace them for the classroom. Unanimously voted on.

Scholarship: Congratulations to Megan Thunberg for winning the Ray Kinney scholarship!

By-laws: Donna has completed and the by-laws will be reviewed by board and two additional members.

Fall Fundraisers: Classic Cookie dough will be choice for dough. Innisbrook will be catalog. The following people will assist the Innisbrook Chair person: Kelly Crocker 4th grade, Yvonne Boots-Faubert 3rd Grade, Laura Peterson 2nd Grade, Lori Raber 1st Grade, Kindergarten Nicole Freeman, Preschool Carla Johnson.

Mrs. Freeman/ Mrs. Tabarraci - had some great Box Tops suggestions and requested a sign-up for the book fairs.

Kelly Crocker suggested setting up an on-line account with Scholastic books so books may be purchased for a longer period. All in favor of trying to set this up.

Corine Adams will chair the 3rd annual Bike Rodeo in September!!

We are looking into getting a higher grade folder for the students or to purchase additional folders as replacement.
