Halloween Harvest Party

October 28th

Our Halloween harvest party was a lot of fun this year. "Bewitching Books" was this years theme, celebrating all the wonderful stories out there that have been enjoyed by children of all ages.

We had a super team of volunteers that ran the games and activities, baked lots of 'spooky goodies' for our snack table, and who helped set up and clean up after. Thank you to all! Also, thanks to many students from the Falmouth High School Honor Society for coming out to help us.

Ghostly bowling, Halloween sack races, bean-bag toss and wrap-the-mummy were among the fun filled games. Our resident storyteller had the little witches and goblins mesmerized with her spooky tales. We had a wandering gypsy fortune teller who stopped by to read many a child's future for a gold coin or two. Several fun activities including Halloween bookmarks, decorating trick-or-treat bags, making little monster boxes, nail polish & face painting. Also, special thanks to our 'Mad Scientist' Mr. Starr,

In the lobby we had a terrifyingly terrific display of pumpkins decorated by our different classes.

Below are some pictures of the Halloween festivities. Special thanks to the following local stores & organizations for donations or discounts that helped us put on this event: Stop & Shop, Sweet Tomatoes Restarurant, Booksmith, Eight Cousins, Inkwell books, Kaleidoscope Toys, Ghelfi's Candies, and WHOI.
